Bango eDisti: Getting to revenue faster

A key focus for Bango is to speed-up the time for telcos to launch the Bango Digital Vending Machine® (DVM™) and therefore, speed up Bango’s time to revenue.

By innovating our products and technology, we not only benefit our customers by getting them to revenue faster, we also achieve the same for Bango. It’s a win/win situation.

One of the initiatives we’ve implemented to reduce time to market – and consequently, time to revenue – is the Bango eDisti program.

The Challenge

For telcos, leveraging the appeal of desirable subscription services from global brands is an effective strategy to differentiate their service, acquire and upsell customers, and increase engagement.

However, with great opportunity, come challenges.

Partnering with content providers to distribute their products as part of your offering requires meticulous due diligence, legal resource and technical work.

The DVM solves the technical aspects, but the commercial elements require a different approach – this is where eDisti comes in.

The Bango e-Disti program is designed to reduce, and where possible, eliminate the elements that prolong the launch process.

Bango eDisti is gaining traction. Here’s a closer look at why.

Making it easy for telcos

We love our Digital Vending Machine® metaphor.

Think of eDisti like a pre-stocked DVM.

Bango showcases and distributes all available subscription products to telcos via the pre-filled DVM.

Telcos with a DVM license have the option to buy the product from Bango and make it immediately available to their customers.

Telcos can select a mix of subscription services from the pre-filled DVM. Signing the standard Bango commercial model, without negotiating terms with each content provider.

1, 2, 3 …5…10…50+ content providers can be ‘switched on’ and made available without any commercial, technical or promotional complexity.

Quick and easy, right.

How does e-Disti accelerate the process?

  • Commercial terms: A standard set of commercial terms is used for the resale of these products. Managed by Bango, telcos and content providers no longer need to negotiate commercial terms
  • Promotion: Subscription products are added to the Bango eDisti product catalogue. Bango promotes their availability to telcos via an established marketing program. Content providers only need to stipulate the geographies and Bango does the rest.
  • Integration: One integration to the Bango API enables telcos to launch across our partner ecosystem, rapidly opening-up a very broad, global marketplace of leading subscription services. A telco integrating to each content provider directly can literally add months, if not years to every launch!
